  1. When the ODBEleven backup is taken, where in the phone is it stored?
  2. Don't forget to take a backup before you start modifying. It ain't quick but could be very useful. 🤞🤞👍👍
  3. Doubt it'll be reflected in it's value !!
  4. I have 18s and front parking sensors. When I ordered the car last year the VRS challenge was better value but couldn't be ordered with 18s so I had to go down the regular 245 route and add the options I thought I needed. While the 19s may look better, the 18s give a better ride and the tyres cost much less.
  5. Would a factory reset clear all the information and contacts?
  6. Yeah, I used Prestige Wheels based in Stockport. They sent out a mobile repairer. The finish looked fine, they sanded down the damaged area and filled to look OK. I suppose it depends on how deep the damage is.
  7. 6 for me on all bands
  8. Yeah, I suppose it's balancing the number of times you speed against the number of numpties driving out there. My understanding is that the authorities can take dashcam footage if they think it's helpful in an accident. Personally, I prefer to take a chance with the odd bout of speeding against the near misses.
  9. You are right, many forces are using dashcam footage to prosecute dangerous driving but beware. If your speed is recorded and shows over the limit, you can be prosecuted for speeding.
  10. That's true but they can show you how to access it. If it's not there it's been incorrectly sold to you??
  11. Is it worth having a word with the Dealer?
  12. Are there different specs in the ROI?
  13. It's accessed via the VRS button on the centre console
  14. It might be a good idea to drill a hole in the manifold webbing. However, please remember that all components are designed down to a loading limit and drilling through the webbing may weaken the manifold and cause a failure. Of course I could be over thinking your problem, but I'm just putting a thought out there. Good luck. 👍👍
  15. I have a Nextbase 522GW and love it. As for the screen, it turns off a few seconds after starting up.
  16. +1 for this. Use Halfords concentrate and never measure it out. Just put some extra screen wash in during cold weather. Never had a problem.
  17. On a car that does not have park assist, like mine, the P button activates the camera. However, the camera de-activates at speeds above 15 KPH
  18. I have a rear view camera and I can activate the camera by pressing the P (arking ) button on the console in front of the gearstick. I also have a Nextbase dashcam. If the rear fitted rear view camera is used, it interferes with the DAB signal and I am informed that there is no fix for this. If the front fitted rear view camera is fitted, it is useless if there are any passengers in the rear seats. Good luck
  19. Is it possible that the VCDS mods have somehow removed the auto wipers option? I know that when I did some VCDS mods on my previous VRS, I got some strange results. Sadly, I hadn't taken a backup so couldn't go back to square one.
  20. Is HBA standard for the 245 Challenge or did you enable it via VCDS/OBD eleven?
  21. I have a 19 plate 245 and the option for Auto wipers is a menu option.
  22. The little drops change the sensitivity of the auto wipers, or the intermittent interval for non-auto wipers. The switch has nothing to do with the wiper speed directly. On auto wipers, the speed is dependant on how much rain hits the sensor, i.e. more rain = faster wipers.
