  1. I would say the VRS brand stands for a 'warm hatch' that is relatively affordable rather than an out and out hot hatch. Just my opinion of course.
  2. Welcome to Briskoda. My wife has a Citigo sport which may soon be changed for either a MonteCarlo or a Black edition they are excellent fun cars. ATB
  3. Welcome to Briskoda. Sounds like a lovely mix of cars with the 997 and a new Superb.
  4. Hi and welcome to Briskoda. You would more likely get a better response by posting your problem in the relevant Octavia section. ATB
  5. To me it doesn't look espcially modern,it looks good but more in the sense that this is how the mk1 should have evolved into the mk2 7 years or so ago.
  6. All Electric Skoda Kings Heath. About half a mile from where I used to live.
  7. Many thanks for confirming this.
  8. Up until now my wife has updated 'her' PID via her ms windows laptop without any problem. I am looking at swapping my Fabia MonteCarlo Tech TDI to a Citygo, probably a MonteCarlo meaning we will have both a sport and a MonteCarlo Citygo on the drive. I use a MacBook pro laptop am I going to be able to sync my new PID to it?
  9. OP's Passat looks much like an early(pre body-kitted) mk2 Scirocco.
  10. How are people determining the temps without an oil temperature gauge?
  11. I'm currently debating changing my 18 month old MonteCarlo Tech TDI for a Citigo I agree that the Fabia feels much more old fashioned than the Citigo ,particularly in its handling with 'lumbering' summing this up perfectly.
  12. They both flew at the Goodwood Revival on Sunday. Commentator said one is uk based and the only flying Lancaster in Europe and the other has recently been restored in Canada and is the only other airworthy Lancaster in the world. Canadian plane is due to return their soon with no intentions of returning here and therefore it is unlikely we will ever see 2 flying together again ever.
  13. grr666, one of the best posts I've read in ages
  14. I've done clay pigeon shooting a few times, and not heard any complaints from the ladies. As long as shoot is well organised eg different calibres of gun then it is a good day out.
  15. What impact will the fans have on range?given the additional power draw. By the way great project.
