  1. Hi all, I have now owned my Sportline 190 for just over a week and love it, My only little niggle at the moment is the last 2 mornings it taken 2 - 3 seconds to start on the button, normally it starts up as soon as the button has been pressed, I'm working nights so the car has stood in the carpark for over 12 hours and both mornings it's been damp, on both nights I have been out to the car trying to get to grips with all the toys but can't imagine that would make a difference, is it a sign of a possible problem to come or is it a bit of paranoia and to be expected especially as it's a button start so no glow plug time at this time of year but the chambers might be a bit cold in this damp weather? Cheers All
  2. Really, is that what you just do anyway or does your manual state something different? Which engine does your car have?
  3. Actually thinking now that the ground I was on might not have been level enough, thought it might have been flat enough but I have read that if the adblue goes over the level sensor it can confuse the measurements and as I did fill the tank to with 0.5 litres of the request maximum top up. I did move the car to a more level area which is a bit hard near where I live, think I'll do at work next time which has a completely level carpark.
  4. Well adblue came today, order it before I read bigmicks reply to my other thread, also changed the adblue tank level measurements from gallons to litres, car said it needed 10.5 litres to refill tank so it took the 10 litres I'd bought easily, my only issue was it took 4 times of turning the ignition on, without starting the engine, before it would reset, left it for over a minute each time, started to panic a bit as only had the car for a week and then it reset to 7000miles range!! Anyone had this issue before?

  6. Spot on, Cheers, that's what I was hoping as Ive got a 10litre bottle coming this week, Not sure if this is correct but I have heard that you can't store an opened adblue bottle as it can go off so wanted to use the full bottle in one go! Cheers againπŸ‘
  7. Hi all, pretty much as the title says when do people fill their cars adblue tank when the warning comes on? On mine the 1500 miles warning has come on and I know the tank is 13 litres, I ordered a 10 litre adblue but not sure if there will be the room left in the tank for 10 litres or if I need to run it down a bit to make space. Cheers
  8. Well after 3 years in the Kia wilderness thanks to an ignorant and insulting Skoda dealer getting my back up I have finally returned to the brand, after previously having an Octavia and 3 Superbs before the Kia Sportage, which wasn't a bad tank to be fair, I'm relieved to be back in the lap of luxury in my new to me 190 Sportline DSG, 100 miles of comfortable driving done just today since I picked it up at 11!!😁😁😁
  9. Hi all, thought I'd ask this from a different point of view! I'm looking at moving back to Skoda and want a MK3 estate, ideally I'd like the 187bhp for towing a caravan but the majority of MK3's on the market are the 148bhp variant, I tow a 1500kg caravan and was hoping for some opinions of those who tow with either and whether I'd be better holding out for a 187! Cheers all
