I have tried to do that but stuck fast going to take it to someone see if they can do it

Just done the rear caliper that was fecked with a new one but because I was away for a week air has got in the brake system and I need to bleed all the brakes and doing so the front drivers side calipers bleed nipple broke off its costing me a few quid to keep up with this car now I am going to see if I can take to an engineering place to see if they can take it out looking at £40 to £50.Tried to ask my local garage but he said this car needs to be bled by computer or some nonsense like that does anyone know anything about that.

I will need some more paint done to the car rear hatch,bumper,wing mirrors and the skirts so saving for that I will get pics once I am done

Got my new rear caliper and flexible brake pipe kit and side skirts I hope these skirts are the right ones and not like those vortex side skirts that had holes in them that took me months to sell on got some pictures here

Its poring out behind the hand brake part of it

A couple of days ago I seen a stain on the drive and thought nothing of it until this morning when the pedal went down quite a bit ,the hand brake warning light was on and beeping aswell,fluid was low checked the rear drivers side caliper and at the hand brake part is was dripping with fluid is this a common problem with the skodas or is it sods law and what price has anyone on the site paid for a reconditioned caliper or new one

Is there anyone on the site that works in vw need to get some part numbers for the vw polo gti side skirts that mattvrestate has on his estate fabia. Heres a reg from a polo gti that has the side skirts I am looking for GK56VJE if anyone can help that wood be good.

My fab vrs is bad on the sills bubbled paint going to do it soon it looks s###e and get some side skirts too

update changed both switches on the pedals and still no cruise control,is it the stalk now? need it read by a laptop me thinks

they are sea gray metallic paint for a ford focus from Halfords

bit of a pain trying to get the two wing clips to go just were i wanted them too,paper templates measuring for the centre and so on you can like other people have done and cut the centre wing clips off then screw and glue them on but I thought I would spend a lot more time in clipping them into the bumper for a cleaner stronger fit

my vrs has not used any oil at all got the car at 78000 miles its now 87000 miles not a drop

10 mm self tappers I found it a wee bit tricky to get it in the centre you need someone else just too hold it in place.I screwed from each side of the opening and cut a little more than 3cms from each side that needed trimmed

With the car on idle you can hear the cam pinging which looks like wear,only had the car 7 months its been well serviced 86000 miles its not loud but you can still hear which is not good the car has not been abused while I have had it.What I think I would say needs replaced the camshaft,bearings,hydraulics got a price to have it done £450 ouch I don't know how long the car will drive ok its not loud like I say and drives fine

I have a skoda/seat guy that gets me the parts at cost he got me the lip spoiler for £30

LOL I was waiting for someone to mention that

I used too much may be 20 self tapers plus cut two out holes for the two wing clips that are on the spoiler in the middle

Just got around to putting on my cupra r lip spoiler today read the how to post but had a wee bit of trouble fitting because of the two wing clips in the middle but after a bit of measuring and cutting out some holes I think the fit is much better than cutting them off and screwing and glueing them on what do you think

I know what you are talking about but I can get a switch for £5 and I don't have a scanner to check the errors so its worth a punt the most its cost me is £10 for 2 switches then I will get it scanned

I will get another one of them and replace that

the brake lights are working though
