  1. I recently had a Shark map at 115k. Original clutch, original turbo. The power delivery now it's mapped feels less harsh on the clutch than stock, as it's so smooth. You lose the low down spike it just pulls nicely all the way to 4.5k rpm. I did ask if I could have a bit more because I don't think they're the most aggressive remap in the world; but Ant at AP automotive explained to me that's it's written so it's safe. That was the most important thing to me really. When I'm at the ring and 500 miles from home I'd rather have a car that works than an extra 5bhp/10ftlb. As has been said, if you feel the car is good mechanically go for it. It's the best thing I've done to mine so far.
  2. Hmm interesting. I guess it's unlikely both will have been lost in transit. Hopefully we hear back soon
  3. Cupholder sold. Brake lines sold pending payment. Seat cover anyone?
  4. Hi mate Pm'd you a couple of times about the half tin. Can you get back to me please
  5. I have been clearing out the garage and found a few bits that may be of use to someone. Firstly a mac tools seat cover. It's elasticated at the bottom and has Velcro to adjust how it fits by the headrest. I havent used it for a while as I work off plant now. It is black with red writing. £20 posted recorded. I also have a cupholder that replaces the little compartment infront of the gear stick. £7 posted recorded. I also have a set of Goodrich front braided brake lines for a fabia vRS. £25 posted recorded. I will get proper pictures up after work Collection from West Bromwich welcome. Any questions, fire me a PM. James.
  6. KW V1's are only like £30 more from GNJ motorsport
  7. Those coilovers are £700 on awesome gti mate The saving will almost cover a rear arb from there too.
  8. What do you think of that suspension kit mate?
  9. It does everything the stock head unit will do, but looks way better. I personally hate the look of aftermarket stereos which is why I got one. It makes it feel a much more expensive car with a big colour screen in the dash. But yeah as said, don't buy one for the sat nav
  10. An EK9/DC2 but as a second car. I'll use the vRS as a daily.
  11. Ant at AP automotive - Telford Midland VW - Cannock Both just outside Bham but I've used both and would recommend.
  12. I found this in the garage earlier. It used to be fitted to my mk4 Golf 1.8T. Its a 30psi gauge. It's smoked when off but looks really cool when it is lit up It comes with all wiring however you will need a couple of metres of vacuum line as I can't find the stuff that came with it ~ £2/3 on eBay.. Some pics Just wire it to an ignition live and it illuminates when you start the car. It comes with the pod holder too. £20 posted 1st class recorded. £15 collected. Any questions pm me
  13. No I completely agree, they could be. I was just saying. Time will tell when a few people have got them fitted and mapped ect. I wouldn't mind one myself if they prove to be good.
  14. Sounds like good customer service then! I'm a sceptic and those hybrids always seem a little too cheap to me.
  15. The wheels looked good in person when I saw them. I wouldn't be in any rush to change them.
