cloth retrim?

Featured Replies

A Leather retrim is around £800 and alhough it looks great I can't justify spending that much cash when i'll only have the car for 2 to 3 years ( I do lots and lots of miles per year)

Does anyone have an idea on how much a cloth retrim would be?

The amount of work is the same but the material costs less. If it was around the £350 mark then i'd definitely get it done.

All you can do is get quotes and see what comes up. In some ways, I think maybe just snaffle some Ibiza or Polo seats and get the doors trimmed to suit?

first quote back is from newtrim for £450+VAT (£528)

i'm expecting 4 more quotes

For the difference in cost between cloth and leather, I would still go with the leather. Come resale time it should add value to your car.

Im thinking of getting mine done with leather & alcantara too....Black leather and deep green alcantara, withe some form of red somewhere...
