So my Mk2 vRS badges on my Mk1 vRS will upset you?

Badges are nice, but the ballon tyres offend me ;)

16 inches not enough for you? :D

More than enough, just like low pro rubber ;)

Spotted today at a friend's place

That is nasty. I hope he/she/it is no longer your friend, or that they do not have associations with the culprit.

I once saw a Renault 5

TWIN turbo........... It looked very special indeed:rofl::rofl:

My dad many, many years ago had a mk.iv Ford Cortina (with vinyl roof ) with a 1.6 GL badge on the back, the engine was a 270bhp BDA Cosworth engine with 5 speed box!!

So insanity runs in the family then :):)

Doesnt Jason have a Saab "turbo" badge on his car.. or didnt he even have the porsche turbo badge at one point too?

wrong wrong wrong, its all wrong.

badges are there to be removed... lesss weight = more speed

:rolleyes:After reading this I'm thinking of fitting a vRS badge to one of my Estelles! :D

Ooooh - a vrs badge might complement the Favorit's rear spoiler nicely :D

TBH I think if I had a fast car I'd rather de-badge it so you don't get people trying to race you all the time.

Badge less is much more fun ....you can see them thinking ...do I, or don't I

I don't know if he (or she) is a member on here but I regularily see a blue Superb with vRS badges.

Tut, tut.

Would one be able to order these VRS badges from the dealers? :):D

yes i have a vrs badge on the front of mine, but its cos they stopped doing sport badges and i think the grill without a bade of some kind looks rather ugly. back of car is standard with just the 2.0fsi badge.

Tut tut!!

I prefer the fact that my Sport doesn't have Sport badges, except the sill protectors!

Still I suppose it would be boring if we all liked the same things!

Bizarrely I saw an Octy in Doncaster last week, however I'm pretty sure though that the Type R badge was underneath the Octavia badge on that one.

I've seen a Mk1 Octavia TDI with rear drums covered with fake discs & VRS badges front & rear.

There's a Rover 75 with M Power badges in Doncaster too .....

Of course what you really need to make your car go faster is ....

Mini Cab plates

Someone I once knew had a VX220 with Skoda badges on it!

It apparently was a dig at the "badge clan" that bought Elise's cos they were Lotuses.

Best Badge I've ever seen was on a Seat Malaga!!

Owner had changed it to read "Slag meat" PMSL!!!

I followed a Yellow Audi A4 with 2.0T on the righthandside and RS4 badges on the lefthandside.

I have a photo on my phone and if I remember I will post it up.

Does anyone remember the days when Ford Escort (normally the RS's) owners swapped the letters around (and stole D's from TD's) to read 'SORTED'.

Mwahahahaaaa.. fools.

I've seen a mk1 S3 1.9TDi judging by the soot that came out the back i'd say the latter of the 2 badges was more accurate.

Saw an E39 M5 with 520d badging on the back.. the quad tailpipes and undiesel like noise was abit of a give away though. :D

One of my old mates had an Austin Allegro, and removed some of the letters so it read 'tin leg'.
