To be totally honest I've never heard of them - would have expected them to have a UK site though if they are a decent company unless they are under the importers name in the UK.

IIRC, when you get alloy/tyre packageS Nankangs are supplied and are deemed as budget tyres.

Doesn't mean they're no good though.

You wanna go straight on you get nankang...Were fitteed on mine as they were as good as toyo's mate we fit them on everything (south west tyres)...5 laps of Pembry and they were gone, gone as in I went where the black stuff didn't.

Not all that bad upon reflection...and things change, they were only 50 quid a corner mind.

If they are only 50 squid then I guess that answers my quiestion, if they were good & that cheap everybody would be using them

Mimic Yokohama , but with less grip

Mimic Yokohama , but with less grip
= A good tyre for entertaining handling days, but probably not what you want for the road :D

I had a set of Nankang's on my old 405. Size was 205/50/15's. In the dry they were not that bad. In the wet, well lift off over steer was common on roundabouts :D

Got them fitted on my car (came with the alloys I bought) but cos these rims are 18s and lower profile and wider than the standard VRS tyres I cant really compare.

But they are budget tyres and you generally get what you pay for.

We know them as Nankang No Grips!

Cheap but quite nasty. Wear out pretty fast as well.

Try the Kumho Ecsta 712. True budget sports tyre.

My mate has the 712 on his Supra and they r doin well without much wear.

Try www.mytyres.co.uk cheap tyres and very wide selection.

I had Kumhos on my Supra too (we before I burnt them out last Saturday).

I thought continental were the choice for budget tyres ?
