Edition30 DSG with 320?

Featured Replies

Spotted this on another forum and thought I'd raise it here. The mods listed are Revo and a turbo-back Milltek with sports cat. The Awesome graph lists 320 at the fly. Don't particularly like the look of that graph; not holding max for very long?

Seems an amazing result considering the tweaks?

Big shove in the ar5e then dies off torque wise. But having said that its still holding 250 ish lbft at 6k.

But power is pretty steady climb.

K04 turbo, do map very well.

If he is still using the standard air intake then it could be a bit asthmatic. ;)

So the ED30 differs from say the Mk2 vRS by having the KO4? Didn't know that :)

If it's the one I think it is then I think it is fitted with a 'Bonio

Wonder if an uprated fuel pump would improve the mid range at all

As it is its not that bad for a petrol motor, seen a lot worse.

Unfortunately the 'proper' wheels have been replaced :thumbdwn:

My mate has just had his ED30 DSG remapped at Awesome!

297bhp!!! Drove it the other day and it is Fappin' Quick!!! BTW I need a DSG 'box they are very very very good!

As Lummox says ED30 has the KO4S Turbo same as Cupra R and S3, the old 225 TT's used to map to just over 280bhp with the same turbo!

Shows you what an extra 200cc can do :)

i feckin love the gti in white.

Shows you what an extra 200cc can do :)

its very very little to do with it being a 2.0 compared toa 1.8 mate, its down to the FSi and the head :)

the 2 litre FSi Motors are basically an ABF 16V motor IIRC! The new injection system will be more fuel efficent but I'm sure displacing an extra 200cc wont be harming matters :)

oh i doubt the extrac capacity is doing any harm but i was told it was virtually down to the head and fuelling that it was so good.

excellent volumetric efficiency apparently.
