Anyone had any luck fitting theirs to the Fabia.

There was a post in here regarding the fact that the lifters do not fit.

Subsequently I posted a new thread for an update but it had been moved. I had not heard anything else about this subject in a week and I am eager to fit them.

I'd prefer this post to remain where it is, in the maintenance section, as that's where it belongs. So has anyone fitted them yet?

We're now talking a month + since the cheque was posted and still no solution for those with a Fabia.

Seriously, I'm fedup waiting and tempted to send them back.

Sure I'm not the only one who feels like this!!

It's the same for us Tavia owners too. Still waiting our lifters :(

I know how you feel. There are obviously some supply problems but an update wouldn't go amiss....

I've had some bolts made up for the fabia as they need to be on an angle but then found out my lifters are too long. Will try and post some pics up when I get some time (not working overtime). I'm sure Erik is looking into things. Not sure if he know the lifters he's sent myself are the wrong size. About an inch too big.

I've just spoken to Erik at AAT and here is the situation.

Octavia Lifters

Major supply problems but they should be in stock in 3 weeks time.

Fabia Lifters

They are just awaiting delivery of the new model nuts. The lifters should be dispatched next week.

Erik appologised for not keeping people informed but they are having problems with their computer systems and have lost that internet thing. Feel free to call him on 01543 683051 if you need more information.
