Milotec Grille fitting

Featured Replies

Bought one of these from a guy on ebay and came to fit it today but i found that the brackets that mount to the bonnet do not line up with the new grille in order to keep it away from the bumper when the bonnet is shut?!

Anyone else had this issue when they have fitted one of these and have any tips/help/advice to get round this??

Thanks

There should be 4 off rubbers spacers, 2 each side as per pic

yeah, i got them, but i assumed that as the brackets do no even get anywhere near the holes on the grille that it just doesn't fit! is is simply a case of making it fit then with a bit of elbow grease and non-gentle persuasion??

No elbow grease required, straight swap for original grill,4 screws along top edge and 4 through brackets at the side. Is it the correct grill? as there are a few versions and not all say they will fit vRS.

They should line straight up - mine did :D

yeah mate mine went straight on no problem took 10 mins max maybe wrong grille buddy get in contact with the company you got it from pal

well it goes on, but can't line up the four screws with the rubbers on, can only get it to line up with the bottom two so i think the Ebay seller has done me really!

Was it bought from an Ebay shop type thing ?

Or just a normal member ?

Poor show if it's a normal member, but if it's a shop they may be able to swap it.
