News update:

It has come to my attention today from numerous people that the fox has changed it menu big style and has become very expensive for virtually nothing. Im not happy with this and need to find a new location nearby. Im looking at the Bystander (hungrey Horse) at wootton nearby which i beleive a vw group also use unless someone else can suggest a good venue that has good car parking (which has been the biggest restriction).

So lets discuss and find a suitable venue in rather a short space of time unless you all still want to use the fox???

The Waggon and Horses in Southmoor has a large car park. Also has Aunt Sally for the stick throwers and a kid's adventure thing, plus a large beer garden if the weather's good!

Sorry, can't make it as I'm on holiday, otherwise I certainly would come down. I live near Southmoor, but I'm not biased about the pub! In all fairness, the food's not the greatest but it is reasonably priced. Bitter's great though!

Unfortunately im the culprit for baker not been there so i wont be able to make my 1st local meet.

I only live round the corner litraley,can walk it in 3mins,they got a kiddies play thing too,big car park

I know I don't own a skoda - but might I suggest the Applecart on the milton interchange.. decent enough food easy to find etc..

Shame about the Fox, always was a fan of the Janet special
