New vRS, What would we like to see?

Featured Replies

needs to have a wider track, and look nothing like the standard mk 2.

4WD, LSD and a 3.0L turbocharged derv.......

A 30 mpg Deisel ...... that would go down as well as the Titanic in Britian today with prices hitting 130.9p per l

How about it not to look like a complete munter? :D

Ok well then - add in hybrid electrical technology and make sure its a CR system allowing the use of 100% veg oil fuel :)

I really don't think anything of the new fabia, its to much of a cutie to be taken seriously in vRS form, but like most things i might be wrong

One of these would be nice.

Hmmm new vRS.. id like to see:

2.0i engine

Falken tyres

lots of torks

quickly to warm up in winter

pikey mods

doors that dont leak

:)

... An end to speculation and 9 million threads on it ;)

4WD, 180 bhp CRDI, switchable WIS (meth option), 7sp DSG, 3-door, carbon / aluminium body panels (doors & bonnet), leather Recaros, Xenons, privacy glass - The all new Fabia vRS 180 CRDI AWD WI-UL (All-wheel Drive Water Injection Ultra Light).

and all for £12995 and insurance group 5 1000 miles to a tank ... now where do I sign  oh no just seen it's a 3 door :thumbdwn:

Did none of you see the article in Autocar magazine - TSI engine is coming. Diesel not considered a good option by Skoda due to high diesel costs.

Problem is VAG dont have a small diesel engine... theres the 1.4 which is an old-tech 3-pot... not powerful enough really...

So that just leaves the 1.4tsi (sensible choice) or the 1.8tfsi (which i would like to see but its unlikely)

Both those petrol engines are still very economical for their power, and would ensure the new vRS handling was more netural and less nose-heavy than the previous one..

But considering the relationship with Seat... my money is on 140-150bhp 1.4tsi in the vRS. and the new Ibiza Cupra getting 170-180

Reckon they'll lose sales then ..... :thumbdwn:
