Exhaust (back section) for 1998 Fun

Featured Replies

My son's just come in with his 1998 Fun exhaust hanging off. Haven't looked yet but he says it's detached on joint of back-box and pipe going forward. If recent experiences with ATS when ordering a battery are anything to go by (bless 'em, our local's great actually), a bit of info as to what 'normal' car this is from would be a great help. Part no even better. This would avoid him driving 10 miles sounding like a tank to find they don't have one in stock and I could call them and they'll have it in by lunch-time.

Thanks in anticipation

Try find a good independent exhaust place in the phone book - call a few up and they should know what you want. The place I use for exhausts orders them for delivery same day - so they don't hold them in stock, but you can drive there and have the work done same day.

Part number will either be 6U9 253 609 B which is the rear exhaust section for the 1.6 Felicia "Combi" (translates as Estate I believe) or a standard felicia rear exhaust is part number 6U6 253 609 B.

I agree , go for the local factors option . There is only one clamp and a rubber to get it off. ive put my original in the shed and made a straight through pipe for mine, so ive always got a good one for the mot

The pick up exhaust is different to the estate and hatch exhaust. Either ask for one for a 1.6 Felicia pick up or ask for one for a Felicia Fun.

Skoda dealer would be your best bet, as the 1.6 pick ups are not that common, therefore no economies of scale for the pattern part manufacturers.

I dont know what factor you use but my local ones have them on stock, and a lot cheaper than the dealers

I thought the pick up back box was the same as the Combi.

I know the accessory backbox from Skoda was isted the same for pick up/combi.
