SLXI Turbo help please

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have a 2000 plate SLXI Turbo which has a misfire problem and also feels jerky when just driving along at say 50-60mph. I took it to my local independant Skoda garage who ordered a coil pack and went through each one, but it did nothing to help the problem. We believe the car to be chipped as the Mechanic who road tested said it was the same if not faster than a vrs. No fault code appeared on the computer either. At the moment i left the garage and bought some injection cleaner which is currently running through but other than that, can anyone give me some clues ? The airflow sensor has been suggested to me but obviously thats a lot of money if it dont cure it. I have also put brand new plugs in. Thanks in advance.

Try unplugging the air flow sensor and seeing if it drives any better.
