Rear cup holders?

Featured Replies

Stupid question but do any of the OctyIIs have rear cup holders? I feel that here should be one in the top of the jumbo box (a pop out one in the back of the front arm rest bit but there isnt).

Was wondering because I've just got one to fit to my 4 year old's car seat and noticed there isn't one already back there.

Copied from Stu's post in that thread.........................

1Z0 857 961 9B9 ashtray with housing satin black cup/drinks holder £43.16 + VAT

...................that price may have changed as it dates from 2006.

Arent they in the rear armrest?

Arent they in the rear armrest?

I was going to mention this - I'm sure my rear arm rest has them in. I don't use it hence I'm not sure!

Nope, not in rear armrest of a vRS (could be different for other models though such as the Elegance and L&K)

Aftermarket one fits in the rear 'bin' between the rear of the front seats in the centre console.

I have one:)

Buts thats because I dont have the Jumbo Box :(

I think it's depending if you choose smoking or non-smoking version of the car. At least, if I was choosing a non-smoking car, it was not an option to choose cup holder in the console. I had to go for a smoking car to get that. Pretty weird...

Cheers Hedge - Spot on that as there are definitely none in the rear armrest.

Another trip to the dealer methinks...

Does anyone know whether it is possible to fit the rear cupholders from a Golf in? The Golf has a neat rear dual cupholder which a sprung to clamp around the cup.
