Was pulled over the other day by the police :thumbdwn:

Started talking and the police officer said my Fabia was a bit of a boy racer car :(

I've taken offence to this! Originally bought the car to lose the young corsa driver image

This has really bugged me

So is my car a boy racer car and the Fabia in general? Tbh i dont think so and id class my Fabia as pretty classy and OEM + but obviously not in the eyes of the law

Now I know you, me, and most people on here can see the difference between a tastefully modded fabia and a chavmobile, but plod?

To illustrate the point, I sort of half pulled out infront of an officer in his astra a few weeks back - he pulled my over within twenty yards. Promptly shouted at me to "stay in the vehicle", yanked my passenger door open and proceeded to give me a lecture on my driving. Thing is I can't help thinking the wind rathe4r went out of his sails when he realised I was about 5 years older than him...must have thought he was pulling an 18 year old. That and the fact I was quite polite, rather ****ed on his chips.

The wheels are up for swaps in the For Sale section its bugged me that much - i'll just go stealth. + need to free up a bit of cash for a few power mods :P

most sports hatches are classed as boy racer cars, especially if they are modified visually.

just accept it.

Its a diesel and its a skoda, two things i wouldnt associate with boy racers.
