GTi International - Idiots/Rant

Featured Replies

 Was heading up the M1 yesterday (not to GTi international but in the general vicinity). There were loads of modded Audis & VWs heading up the M1 presumably on their way to GTi international. All I can say is they were driving like complete twits. 3 Audis & 2 Golfs came very close to causing a multiple pile up, weaving in & out of traffic. Only passed two Skodas (nice Octys!) on the way up and they were driving courteously and according to the law. To the ones driving badly, "Next time, save your crazy driving until you get on the track!". Rant over!

It's a shame that these antics happen but unfortunately it's inevitable with such a large show, there's bound to be one or two idiots on the roads :thumbdwn:

Pleased to hear that the Skoda community was behaving themselves :) (what colour Octy's were they?) although I wish there was more of us represented at such a large show like GTi International! :o

They were silver ones, near Junction 17 northbound. One of them had a personal reg plate and was a TDi but didn't get the plate no. Didn't see brisky stickers on either of them. He was doing about 60 in the inside lane when SWMBO overtook him! ;)

Agreed! Think I might attend next year. There were a load of bikers heading to Donnington too, & although they were driving a tad fast, they were driving with discipline.

 boys with toys.Pobally can,t control them anyway.

Well done to our "Skoda guys" for keeping within the law.
