Wow! Didn't know Skoda drivers/owners gathered online. What a good idea...and I'm pleased to have found you all. This looks a great site.

I'm here to learn about and hopefully contribute to Skoda knowledge online. My wife and I are about to take delivery of a new Skoda Fabia 2 Estate with the 1.4TDI 80bhp engine. We have never owned a Skoda before but have been impressed with the various road tests we have reviewed and of course the test drive we undertook prior to ordering.

I don't drive a car very much these days, my wife uses our present motor more than me. I pilot a GSX1400 motorcycle for most of the week for convenience and fun! However, with the Skoda likely to be here in a couple of weeks, that's going to change. The Fabia is a delight to drive we have discovered, very powerful with good handling too. But you all know that I'm sure. I'm a fan of diesels too.

I'm still exploring the site, but if there's a virtual bar, I'll be the one buying the drinks! Hope to talk to lots of you soon.

We did have a virtual bar once run by Mr Grumpy but it got a bit out of hand and had to be shut down :(....It may re-open one day though Oh and welcome..
