I'm interested to know, what sort of reputation does Skoda have in Turkey and elsewhere? Is it the same as here ie they weren't that good hence the jokes or are they a new brand over there?

yes in turkey the same... but for only old model (120L 135L 136L etc.) now in turkey, the best sellers are fabia and superB. i think no problem... i show my car's power to anyone... (sorry for my enlish... :( )

If it's the back left you're looking at (in the first picture) then it's fine. Arrow should point in direction of rotation.

Just stood behind my car in the car park and the arrow tread does indeed point unwards when looked at from the rear.
