Thanks:thumbup: I'm interested to see how yours compares to Gary's... :)

If I can get the ££ for tyres etc I might take mine around yet.

Mines faster.

Partly because I am behind the wheel and partly because its black.

O and about another 60bhp and 30lbft too  ( I hope)

FFS :P I was contemplating it and it's about a 700 mile round trip for me!

Point proved Jason!

are there any places left?

are there any places left?

The list of attendees is on post #2 HERE. There are currently 14 people confirmed and 13 more interested. Anyone paying a deposit secures their place, the interested's may lose out if the day fills.

I'm sorry to say that this is more than likely the last one of these I organise. The Scooby club just don't seem interested, preferring events where they can just park up and look at their cars than actually drive them. Due to the interest on here I shall consider running it as a Briskoda event with the permission of the powers that be here, but more than likely I'll just revert to going there mid-week with half a dozen mates for a testing session, rather than go through the hassle of trying to convince so-called petrolhead car enthusiasts that it's more fun when a car moves. I nearly pulled the plug last time, but was adamant that I wanted to get to 10 events. I was glad I didn't as the last one was the best yet and ended up fully booked.

So, come along and enjoy the BlyTEN bLAST.

Well I would definatly be up for helping in the organising of a briskoda event if it goes that way and you need any help:thumbup:

I had a blast last time, so did my brother.... who had never been on a track before that. It was his first time and he had no problems at all.

Its a nice relaxed (but safe) way to enter into the world of track days. Bring you car, theres no pressure to mash your pride and joy around at full pelt destroying all its tyres. Its just as much fun if you take it steady and get used to the limits of yours and your cars ability without a) putting other people at risk and B) your driving liecence at risk.

Anyone whos thinking about coming..... stop thinking and get your deposit sent, I guaruntee youll love it

Even if you dont want to go on track, come see us fools shread our tyres :D (fools = me and gary)

plus free passenger rides to all who wish to experiance a hybrid fabia ;)

AFAIK the WYIOC will have that in order. Will check and confirm, but in any case just bring for yourself.

Ruku, as John says, come along and enjoy the day. If you choose to drive there is no safer way to enjoy some track time. As we don't allow overtaking except by mutual agreement (leading car signals and moves aside) then you shouldn't get collected by some numpty loosing it into a corner. There's no racing, just a chance to push yourself and your car and learn how to control a car at speed. Then come out with me and see how it should be done :D

I'd love to go, but I don't fancy risking damaging the car :P
come on luke, give it a whirl, you will be converted i gaurantee it

Is anyone coming to this from the deep south ?

Jason chickened out as he would rather sit his car on a stand than use it :P

Come anyway. Where about you based?

Like others have said its a safe enviroment. You dont have to rag your car, kill the brakes or tyres to enjoy yourself.

Southampton - almost as far as Jason :)

I need to get some more 'local' practice before I back to the ring.

I'll make sure I can do it and decide tomorrow.

Southampton -.

That is a little far. Maybe a cheap premier inn the night before?
