Attaching Forge stubby aerial?

Featured Replies

OK, so i finally got the stocky off after much pulling and heaving..

Next question is putting the new stubby on, it appears that the thread length is too short? I have tried to lenghten it by unscrewing it a little with an allen key, but can't get it to budge.

Anyone managed to successfully fit this? If not, its going back..

Cheers lads.

Dan.

Hiya

What stubbie aerial have you bought?

I bought a cheap one off ebay, it fitted OK as it came with a variety of attachements, however once fitted the reception was awful, so took it off and went back to OEM beesting aerial.

I've thinking about getting a Honda stubbie, but just not got round to it, they are supposed to have good reception.

The best one around is the S2000 aerial (Honda) and fits straight on with no probs.
