And I have to say it has really worked wonders to firm up the rear of the car ...it now feels so much more stable than before, I would never have thought it would make so much difference.

Wheels were first mod 225/45/17 the fronts have Eagle f1 gsd3 on them ....very good tyre and quite quiet as well

second and latest mod is a tow bar and yes it does stiffen the back of the car up noticably.

mods to come......well I will have to fill the piggy bank up again first and then see what happens to the fuel prices

How the heck does that work then? I thought it would simply attach to an already rigid chassis member?

Im intrigued. :)

Me too as it just slots and bolts in in place of the existing crash bar, and is just a crashbar/tow point combined on most cars I know of.

That is correct, take crash bar out replace with towbar bar. Can't say i notice any differance on my Oct'y.

Crash bar bolts straight onto the rear of the car the towbar slots right up inside the chassis members with bolts through it and as silly as it sounds it really does make a difference
