uprated discs and pads?

Featured Replies

I was just wondering?

what kind of difference grooved or drilled discs would make if i changed front and back?

so i thought theres only one way to find out?

ask the jolly brisk folk :orb_not_w

You won't notice any difference. You may impress someone looking at them. If anyone else has back to back figures that contradict this, please let us know.

Hijacking the thread i know but can you get anti corrosive discs? Mine seem to rust up pretty quickly?

I'm in the process of fitting a compbrake big brake kit. Only 50 - 100 quid more than the brembos and you get a much improved spec. Two piece 330 x 32mm discs and 6 pot aluminum calipers.

I'll be doing a write up soon but i'm only doing this because of the stress my brakes get at the Nurburgring. For road use the standard jobbies with good pads i.e Ferrodo DS2500's are more than up to the job so you have to ask yourself - Do you really need them?

im just thinking stopping is good :orb_lol:

and with the 20s i can feel the extra effort of the car trying to stop them , so with that and the right pedal problem they could be a good investment :orb_cool:

i will keep an eye out for what you think mate,

still after that jabba induction at the mo , lol

I have grooved black dimonds fitted - deffinatly feel the difference IMO
