Fabia Dash Issue

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

I jumped in my 1.4mpi comfort today and noticed that where the clock is normally displayed, under the rev counter, there was a new set of info on the display. in the centre, there is a number with mph written above it, looks like a digital speedometer? except the number only changes about once every half mile or so. on the left top corner there is a circle with a slash through it, and in the top right a square box with "1" written inside it.

ive attached a picture for reference. Can anyone tell me what this is and why its only started appearing instead of the clock?

All help is greatly appriciated. Many thanks in advance, 2012.

You have activated the trip computer. The display has various options and is controlled by a rocker switch on the end of the wiper stalk.

You can change the display to read Average MPG, Live MPG, Clock, Miles done, etc on the window wiper stalk button.

Hold button for more than 1 sec to change from 1 and 2

1. indicates for that journey

2. last 1000 miles IIRC

!

Lol. Thats your average speed. Its a trip computer. On the end of your wiper stalk, push it and it'll change to distance/mpg/mph/miles remaining

I've spent enough time as an I.T profressional to recognise that acronym.

GTFO means you have just been told to get the **** out. Usually a reaction to trolls or noobish behaviour.

Hahaha that made me smile
