A good reason to get an iPhone?

iPhone Apps We Like: Dynolicious Car Performance Meter

Dynolicious is an all-purpose automotive performance meter, utilizing the built-in accelerometer in the iPhone and iPod touch to record your driving characteristics. BunsenTech, the makers of the software, claim that it can record 0-60 times within .08 of a second, accurately estimate your current speed and monitor and record any directional G force.

Looks very interesting

Expensive stopwatch;)

There is NO good reason to get an iPhone. Period.

OK. "Whip it out" in a bar, and I've found women in my proximity to question "Is that an iPhone?"

...They're a fantastic ice breaker if nothing else :D

Just out of interest

I just bought the app and went out for a spin with my german buddy here in Hamburg and his new S3.......... guess what ... it only bloody works :thumbup::thumbup:

The big gaffer here has an F430 which I am begging to get a trip in, maybe this will be the "toy" that lets me get that spin :D

I'm in Cardiff next week, must speak to Dave and Babs to sort out some "G" testing and acceleration runs in their Octy's

Ive just bought it.. will give it a try later...

Have you jailbroken yours yet Tony?... some useful apps are starting to appear for 2.0 now, although im running out of space on my root partition so will prob have to make a custom ipsw with a gig root or something.

Yes indeedee Col, the macbook has it's uses, I used the pwnage tool on the macbook and wrote a custom firmware which was nice.

Customise has just been released again for firmware 2.0 so happy days with my own themes etc. I also bought Crash Bandicoot racing, for a phone game it's unbeleivable, graphics are better than the DS and once you get used to the controls it's a lot of fun to play.

You got anything special in the firmware... mines just a basic one with cydia on it... dunno if its worth getting installer on there again too
