MOT Deals?

Calling on the combined knowledge of the Briskoda Massive :D

It's MOT time and being as J5 jr is on the way I want to pay as little as possible  Anyone know of any offers anywhere at the moment?

TIA

There was a place in worcester a few week ago doing them for £35, if you wanted to travel that far. Don,t know if they are still doing for that price now. CTS i think it is called.

I'm not sure I could ever trust any of the big chains as they're guaranteed to find faulty shock absorbers, brake discs etc that nowhere else would find faulty. Guess you have to make it clear you intend to do the work yourself or take it elsewhere to have any faults fixed.

as above, i think anyone offering a 35 quid mot is going to find enough wrong to make it worth their while!

i took my car to a local authority testing station and got mot for 49.50 but they dont do any service work if something is wrong, even a bulb - which sounds bad, but then it also means they have absolutely no interest in finding somethign wrong to make some money on chargable work!
