I was just wondering how long will last Felicia's 1,3 engine without the need of rebuilt when maintaining correctly? Maybe someone can share his experiences about this. For example my Felly (carb feeded) has done 170 000 km (105 000 miles) so far and does not show any signs of wear. It does not eat oil or smoke or anything. Only usual chain rattle (still original chain probably) and thats it. According to the maintenance book, first couple of years full synthetic oil was used, and later semi synthetic 10W40 Valvoline (change after every 10 000 km).

Quite variable I imagine. Sounds like yours is well kept anyway and currently in good condition so perhaps another 100k miles is not unlikely?

see if you can get her to 225000.
