If the sensor isn't getting the right info back to the ECU, it won't get the fuelling right and hence run rough. It will take more luck than judgement unless your getting a specialist to do it which costs a lot of coin. Tell you what, you get rid of it and come back and tell us what happens eh?

You seem to be very aggressive in your posting. The advice you get on here is much more than "yes" or "no", it's much more comprehensive and far better for people generally, it is obviously subject to you taking any notice of it but there is very little reason for you to react in the way you have (Which BTW is really just plain rude). It's also a public forum and most things on here will be subject to opinion. If you don't like other peoples opinions then just go somewhere else and bother people who care even less.

How did it peform afterwards? Any MOT problems?

Made good numbers on the RR felt a bit quicker, it was made so it could easily be swapped back over for the mot

Well, would the first six or so posts have not been better spent informing of this factual information as to why it wouldn't be viable, rather than repeatedly telling me of the MOT issues and one tit who's obviously on't blob having a go at me for pollution and such like ?

All I set out to do, was gain some information on a possible way round these sensor thing's, and if there wasn't what would be the repercussions of not being able to do it. If the first chap to answer had have said what you just have, I'd have said "right, thankyou, I dont think I'll bother afterall..." and it would all have been wrapped up right there.
