Skodas bought through `Simply Skoda`

Just discovered Simply Skoda

Prices seem very good for all Skodas. Anybody used them or have any comment to make about them?

Just looked at their site.

I had no idea the Fabia vRS came with leather seats :P

If you are going to consider buying from someone like this I would suggest you use either the Skoda site or visit a dealer to get a brouchure as it seems a little odd.

Does anyone know if they are a proper dealer or separate from the network? Do they sell UK models or euro-imports like some of the supermarkets?

From my expewrience, I got the best deal from my local dealer - not only were they very competitive, but they will be there if it goes wrong - I've already got it booked in next week for some minor issues. Have a look at the VRS's on Motorpoint as an example - also bear in mind that these cars only come with a 1 year warranty. To save

Looking at the site all the cars are from U.K dealers and TBH I don't think the prices are all that special anyway (well on Fabia models). Try a few dealers and pressurise them, they want to sell you the car after all! ;)

Prices didn't look that special. Only

drivethedeal.com seem to offer a better discount than them.

When we bought the L&K Diesel estate we went to a local dealer & did all the test drive bits, then got the best deal we could on the internet & walked back into the dealers & said match that & the deals yours. They went away & made some phone calls, came back 1/2 hour later & agreed.

That was March last year & we ended up paying

Warantee on my Octy was 2yrs/unlimited miles from Skoda, then an extra year from skoda UK subject to max 60k to give the 3yrs. Also some dealer perks are worth something - like interest free credit which saved me at least
