my IAM test tomorrow.

Featured Replies

off for an early night shortly, probably with a few advance driving books for company. felt alright yesterday, but as the course of the day has gone on and i think about it i become quite nervous.

Gonna set out early tomorrow as i have heard rumours where the test route goes so might just have a tour round the route to see if there is anything which might catch me out (which should hopefully not).

Will let you all know tomorrow how it goes!!

You'll be fine mate, all the preparation you have done up to this point should hold you in good stead, sounds weird but I kind of enjoyed mine, and I always like giving demo drives its aa bit of a chance to show off to people who are interested instead of SWMBO telling me to shut up when I try and do a bit of commentary to show her something i dont like about her driving :D.

Certainly go out for a drive prior to warm up, but I wouldnt be to concerned about the route you are taking, if something does 'pop up' its always a good chance to demonstrate parts of the system and your coping abilities with hazards.

All the best for the drive

Good luck Paul

Good luck.

I thought I knew some of the route I'd take on mine. How wrong was I

there is one town name that keeps popping up when i ask people and adding to the fact of where it starts and it needs to include a motorway i can only think that it be better for me to go up to this town and take a drive round to get in my mind what to expect there(only ever driven through it in a lorry and no one will argue with you if you staggle two lanes ) .

Thanks again, sinister has left me a note and message on facebook (as she is away tonight on a sleep in at work) telling me i will pass, just dont want to get my hopes up to much even if scoobychris managed to get my confidence back up last sunday:thumbup:

Good luck!!!!

Let us know how it goes!!!!

:)

Good luck. Enjoy it. Even if you don't pass (which I'm sure you will) you'll already be a far better driver from all the practise and thought you've obviously put into going for it.

Hats off to you for improving yourself and making the roads (at least where you drive) safer!!
