In most cases I would agree with you, but I've yet to hear a bad word about V-maxx from anyone.

Certainly going to be the choice for me next year.

Roughley how much lower than a standard VRS?

Looks quality.

Im getting Vmaxx fitted next weekend, worth a pop with a 2 year guarantee, ive heard ace reviews on here, at the end of the day its a Derv Skoda i doubt it needs £10,000 Proflex suspension

So how low is the front dude? is the front still got the adjusters in?

Can you get any better pics from side on??

They seem to be a good kit from what i've herd and read, looks wicked mate wait till they settle then it will be low low lol

From I've read...

Jamex, Vmaxx, Gmax, Those cheapo ones on ebay

are all the same thing with different stickers

V-maxx are not the cheapo ebay ones. They're and American company and have been around for years in the jap car market. They built up their rep there and branched out.

And fully fitted for £380 with shorter drop links you cant really complain

that looks gangsta bro;)

V-Maxx are made in Holland. They're big in the US, but they're imported out there.

be carefull mate.......... thay take 2-3weeks to totaly settle, mine dropped about 20mm on the front and 30mm on the rear after thay settled.

that looks ace.

They are all the way on the front and all the way on the rear without the adjusters on the rear, havent got any more pics yet but got a big meet in Oxford tonight so may get some new pics there.

See how much interest it will get........................

They have been on since wednesday and have dropped a lot already! see if we get anymore out of them yet..........

fantastic coilovers for the price!!

Hummm, ill have to read up about them.

I think its them or a full Koni set-up for me.

I might have words with Awsome, see what they think.

whats the ride like

i was going to get a set of these for my fabia, dont be fooled by the price of coilovers, as i had a set of kw v3's and my mate had a set of v maxx's fitted to his leon cupra r, i also had them fitted to my leon cupra r and they both handled as good as each other

Where the problem will come is months down the line when the adjusters rust up, easily solved by coating the threads in coppaslip or similar. The vmaxx/gmax and jamex are all the same kit with galvie bodies instead of st/st.

dont they also come with summat like a 2 or 3 year warranty on them, so if anything does go wrong you can just send them back

  • Author

Yes they do come with a 2year warrenty, and the ride of the v-maxx are just right on the comort front not to hard and not 2 soft just right if u still are after ride comfort.

here is a few more photos now its settled a bit and the car is now clean,

looks the tits!

car looks good

i think the ride on the vmaxx kit could be a bit stiffer, its a bit bouncy on motorways and i get rubbing that if it was stiffened up would cure.

  • Author

ah i dnt mind it 2 much if it was stiffer on motorways it wud drive like a tank, just posted some more photos now its been cleaned and settled a little.

it should setlle more at the front, unless you have the helper springs still in.

it is the perfect stance for the fabia to sit tho :D

are the helper spring the smallers ones at the bottom? and should they be in there?
