cleaning dirty marks off the headlining

Featured Replies

hello,

well it was ****ing it down in the paddock last weekend so i decided to put my leathers on lying down in the back of the car. and in all the frantic wirggling managed to put some dirty marks on the headlining.

any advice on what to use to clean it?

thanks

richard.

When a punter of mine put his hands on the headlining and managed to put a blood stain on it i used a warm soapy water sponge but not soaking wet and dabbed the area under pressure but did not wipe around and it all came off very easily and hasn,t left any stains or water marks behind.

Little bit of soap, warm water, sponge and finally...

Lots of elbow grease!

try vanish or 1001. question was if you were you doing to get the ceiling dirty? surely the bedroom department would have been better for hanky panky ;)

Foot prints on the headlining eh?

wd40 is good for removing marks off the upholstery - local garage to me uses it when they accidently mark a cream carpet. Personally I wouldn't use it, wouldn't be able to stand the smell!

Autoglym Interior shampoo, i managed to clean most of my interior with one bottle.

Ended up with 2 buckets full of black murky water when done (Damn Smokers!)
