Put too much oil in my octavia. How do I drain some. I am no good with cars!!! help!!

is there a plug in the sump (or screw)?

Would have thought the best bet would be to syphon it out.

You can get them cheaper on ebay just look for a Pela Pump.

Mine cost me £25 but you must get the oil hot else you will be there for hours

Yeah I know, it appears people are putting prices up for everything everywhere. I'll be looking to buy a replacement, so if you have a cheap supplier I'm all ears

How much oil is "too much" in this case? The last time I did this, a replacement oil filter got enough out of the engine.
