Saw one on a Transporter today. Colour looked like a very dark purple, or a black with a purple haze.

Looks very low, and wide in the flesh!

As to style, alfa light pack, gti front dam of course. C30 in the rear and seat/alfa light pack on the rear with maybe some french angles.

Sex on wheels. It definitely suits lighter colours better than darker ones IMHO.

I'm seeing a bit of Honda Civic thrown into the mix too.

It's no more expensive than the equivalent golf and is a better looking car - I'd say yes.

the front end is so nice

I like the front, its when you get round to the back it just doesnt go well with the front imo.

The front is great, but the back looks too much like an old Mitsubishi Colt/Proton Satria to me.:( I know I'm probably on my own with this, but it's all I can think of when I see it.

Can see many design influences there, none of them bad IMO. I think it looks better in darker colours though; silver would not be on my shortlist.

Certainly is a huge hit so far. We have had so many people biting off the salesmans arms at work to see the Scirocco.

Have to aggree with thoughts about colours. I've have as yet only seen this one in the flesh when it was delivered to the showroom.

But i'd love to see it in black, blue and maybe our 'R' racing blue. But this is definiatly a car i need to see in white too.

We have one in at work atm, think they are trying to emulate the 24hr racer..lol
