In the LHD car I looked at, the two white LEDs was all you appeared to get. The brochure would seem to indicate the same.

Personally, I was never too fussed on the original red LEDs, so perhaps the white ones will be an improvement.

Was hoping Catvision was going to something a bit more fancy. Are door handles, door pockets lit at night?

Front and back door handles are lit, as are footwells (when door(s) are open).

There is also puddle lighting outside to illuminate the immediate area around the car when you get out.

Just a quick update to say that the book arrived today. It doesn't really have much information on the actual car, but goes give quite a nice history of the Superb, from it's 1930's origins up to today, as well as covering the various design and marketing stuff for the new car.

Worth having a copy, if you are interested in that sort of thing.

i thought the new 7 speed DSG was to be for small engines

Well a 1.8 is smaller than the 3.6.

The 7 speed DSG can't handle engines that produce a lot of torque like the big V6 for example or the TDis.
