I think the commentator said a lot of the 'Blades' were ex-Red Arrows.

My effort

Those guys are even more mental than the Red Bull racers!!:eek:

Very nice pics Mr H but wheres the Vulcan:thumbup:.or have i missed something.;):orb_duh:just seen it .:D

I assume the Vulcan did not make an appearence though due to the reasons on their website. Such a shame, as its an amazing aircraft.

The Vulcan flew to Brize Norton on the Saturday. There was a problem with it's undercarriage so it couldn't come to Dunsfold.

Shame as I was looking forward to that one.

Fantastic shots there mate, well done that man.

Nice work there guys, some really good shots.

hedge your a man of many talents!! great pics!!

And that was with nearly a second shutter lag (FZ20)!

Some great pictures guys.

Scuff + Hedge ever thought about a website to display all your images and maybe sell a few?

I can't really speak for Scuff as he does that anyway being a pro.

For me I think it would take some of the enjoyment out of it.:)

Thanks all for the comment for Hedge and myself......

I was commissioned for the day, but I will be uploading 200 odd of the best images to my stock agencies.

Come on then, help me out here. I like both of these of the Eurofighter Typhoon, but can't quite decide which I like best. What do you lot think

If only the angle of the plane in the first pic was the same in the second one. Love the Sky in the first picture and the plane in the second picture. Absolutely no help what-so-ever.

Cheers!

Great photos form both of you

I think it has to be Image 2 if only because the plane is the subject.

Both nice pics though.

As Scuff has said thanks to all for their kind comments. :)

Great photos there guys. Really loving the head on Red Arrows shot. Amazing.

Great photos

I also prefer the second image!

I agree with Dave, the first one has so much punch when you first look at it, but the wing is tipped up a tad too much. Could the second shot be re-cropped?

Hope you have found my lens by the way

Thanks for your observations...

Most seemed to like the first one but didn't like the wing position much. SO I had a chat with the pilot and re-shot it with the wing a little lower

Just to wind LE up a bit, here is a crop to give you an idea what a 17m/pixel camera and the 500 f4 can record

Oi, that’s my lens you are using. I will forgive you as you hadn’t given it to me at the time of shooting.

Here's a third party lens with a sticky aperture on a crop sensor Camera on an overcast day at 200mm and f3.5 (it's not PP'd only cropped a tad as it was a long way off for my 'little lens':P), it looks nearly as good to me.......................

......oh who am I kidding, just send me your lens.....NOW!!!!!! and the camera as well if you don't mind:)
