I'm 38 and looking at results am quite old. Mind you last week whilst in local town sorting out my insurance, there was a black octy vrs outside shop. The guy in it must of been in his late eighties. His wife joined him she looked around same age. But respect to the bloke he had no space to get out of this parking spot, but he reversed it to within an inch of the car behind (no parking sensors) and pulled nicely out in one manoeuvre. Why drive a fiesta when you can drive like that.

got my vrs when i was 19, now 20 and still love it, i am suprised that i don't get pulled over by the police. i also get the taxi jokes but they have slower cars than me, so im the winner overall.

I'm 26 and I have a T-reg Octavia TDi (which I bought off my parents when I was 23) and I have friends who have got a T-reg Octavia TDi (male age 22) and a 55 plate Fabia TDi estate (female age 26). It seems that Skoda's aren't just for old people any more! When I was sent out to buy a car for work I came back with a mark 2 Octavia TDi over the usual euroboxes I could get for the same money (but older/more miles). It isn't as much fun as my Golf GTi was but I can get my mountain bike in the boot without taking the wheels off or a load of scuba diving gear and tow boat or 4 people and 4 loads of camping equipment (need I go on)? Insurance is cheap and it doesn't drink loads so there is more beer money for me! Though I have put a Terry Wogan TOG (Terry's Old Geezers) in the back window to show my mental age of an old man.

30 in October. Traded in my Civic Type R for it coming up for two years ago. Needed space for two Rottwiellers and a buggy which I didn't expect to worry about.

Do miss the power but for the load lugging capabilities the trusty "tank" is brill. And she dosen't mind me playing around with bits like the front bumper and radio etc.
