Help!

Car is a 1.9 tdi, DSG with Climatronic. Has done 68,000 miles.

The Climatronic is totally dead, the display works as it always has but the fan control isn't working. When I turn it right up the bar graph shows that it is on "full" but nothing happens, no air coming out at all.

I've checked the fuse and that seems to be OK, even changed it just to make sure.

Can anyone please give me some pointers as to what I should check for next.

I guess you are out of wty then. Do you have access to VAG-COM or the dealer diagnostics tool?

Yes, had my flywheel replaced under warrantee (just!) at the 60,000 mile service and now this.

Would the dealer diagnostics give an answer to this? I always thought that diagnostics were just for engine problems.

Any one else had a dead climatronic?

Dealer Diagnostics is ideal if you have access to it.

Took the car in to dealer today and have just heard back from them that it seems to be the fan motor which has "gone", replacement on order.

The one in St Peter Port by any chance? I was there a few months ago asking how easy it was to buy a car on Guernsey and import it to the mainland. The other halfs dad lives near the airport by Pleinmont.
