Skoda Roomster front fog light problem

Featured Replies

Just got a new Skoda Roomster 2.

When I switch the main headlights on the headlight switch on the circular switch through sidelights to main dipped lights, one of the front fog lights come on when in the main dipped mode. I have done a couple of short journeys, with a friend in front of me, and have found that the front fog lights also varied with the driver's side being on, then changing to the passenger side.

When the circular dial is pulled out - both fog lights stay on permanently, which obviously should be the case.

Has anyone else had an intermittant front fog lights when the main headlights on?

Any help appreciated, or otherwise may be a trip back to the dealers!

I guess you are asking the cornering fog lights, only they work intermittent...

Dou you mean this?

So it's not a fault with the car... it's just a bit weird.

IIRC, cornering fog lights assists below 40 kmh, whereas cornering headlights works over40 kmh speed....

Do you have 'standard' fixed fog lights OR have you specified the optional 'Cornering front fog lights'?

The model spec from the dealer states "Cornering Front Fog lights".

The circular fog lamps don't have the cornering function, only this one:

That's the same fog lights as my car. So I assume through all this that there is no fault with the car?

Cheers all.
