Hi guys going to be getting my wheels refurbred very soon. was wondering if any one had any pictures of there wheels after refurb. not sure whether to powdercoat or to paint. any suggestions on colour. Its a black magic 04 mk1.

any pics would be really helpful.

anthracite is a popular colour when changing the wheels from silver. Partly because it looks good, and partly because it does not show dirt up as much

I really like the more reflective silvers that alot of the aftermarket wheels have rather than the standard silver. Hard to describe what I mean but I'm sure some manufacturers call it things like "race silver" or "High power silver". Anyway I think that looks top and would provide a great contrast on a black car.

As roo said Anthracite is popular, not really my choice because they always look dirty

If you are trying to avoid the endless saga of trying to keep your wheels clean I think gloss black is the way to go

I'm going for gloss black when I refurb the standard spiders however I'd be very carefull when cleaning them as I'd expect most wheel brushes to marr and put very fine scatches into a gloss black finish.
