twin dump valves

Featured Replies

hi all

i just wanted to see what sort of noises this would make,

my mate fabricated a T-piece for me and we connected my old bosch dv with my bailey

it sounds good:thumbup:

you get the woosh from the recirc at lower revs but when you give it some it chatters and then wooshes, nice

i know the chatter is bad but its just an experiment

im just not sure if the vacuum is strong enough for the 2 cos the bailey works but is not noticeable, but i know its that side which causes the chatter cos if you disconnect your dump valve(if its located near the throttle) you get the chatter

any thoughts or opinions?

VERY

why is it obvious?

lack of money m8 wanted mods so done my own:thumbup:

If you had 2 of the same type of DV surely it would make pretty much the same noise as having one of that DV... as you have approx half the excess boost being released through each of the DVs

Wouldnt there be a slight delay in the second one going off?

Sounds.... pointless.
