Awesome RR Day: Sat 15th Nov

Wardy

Recommended Posts

Roll up, roll up ladies and gents, for the 3rd annual Wardy RR Day :D

It's become somewhat of a tradition, having one at this time of year. Started off as me being curious as to what difference certain mods had made, and trying to keep the test conditions as static as possible. So we'll stick to October/November time.

Some info on the road from Awesome's website: LINK

The day will be run in the usual way, for those that have been before. 9am start and we'll limit the list to 25 cars, with a reserves list that Awesome will try to get through, if there's time. Any car can run, it's not limited to Skoda/VAG only. 4WD can also be accommodated. The shop will also be open, so you can be tempted by the delights and treats that lie within ;)

Cost: 2WD: £35, inclusive. 4WD: £45, inclusive. This is paid on the day.

And Sarah has kindly arranged for the lady with the burger van to be in attendance :D

Address Details:

No worries - just stick yourself down on the list as it (hopefully) grows. If you can make it - great

There's a few hotels in the vicinity, if you/other people coming from further afield want to night-stop.

I'll be there for this. Will be interesting to see what the 197 produces in contrast to the 225 last time, especially after the mods this weekend. Paul you've gotta get the Trophy on there. I've set the Megane benchmark as 256bhp :D

The Mrs may also be up for this if l can persuade her to bring the Gen2 MCS down.

1. Wardy - Fabia vRS

2. Skodaboy1983 - Fabia vRS (maybe at present)

3. Bluefox - Superb TDI (another maybe at moment, two runs in two months?!)

4. Poobah - Clio 197

I'll probably be down as a spectator to this.

No mods to the mini since the last run so don't think it will run this time, plus he revved its none aspirated nuts off last time

Good meet though if people are wondering, and I would like to see the MCS run. Fact.
