Its not something I've broke - I'M broke!!

HI

is it a definate you are not going? As i'm on the reserve list, and can't afford to travel all that way if i'm not going to get a run in. If you are not going then i'll move up the list and get a run.

cheers

regards

As far as i'm aware, Tom is coming along. Not sure if he's running or not though.

Suppose I should make a decision then.

Errr, just tossed a coin. Definitely going, definitely running.

They should get through 30 odd cars though, its worth the trip I'm sure.

Just to stop things running away from us here, I'll keep the list as it is. I know I need to update with a two more reserve requests too.

I'll then discuss requirements for the day with Awesome, and then issue some more information later this week.

Steve

Looking forward to this now....... I just need to decide whether to put the dragon box on it's max setting or leave it on it's current setting...... next to max i think...... :)

Sorry. The rare outing for the Octy has had to be postponed due to having too much to do at home.

I've altered the list accordingly.

I hopefully will be running, siezed O/S/F brake calliper is playing havoc at the moment and doubtless is robbing me of a few bhp too. :( Could also explain 26mpg average recently.

Hopefully will be fixed by the weekend though.

hi

Sorry im going to have to back out saturday being dragged into work and cant get out of it.

Thanks

You can be outside if you want to be; there's a big enough carpark :)

But yes, there's enough room inside too, should the Scottish weather be present ;) A decent shop containing many temptations, plus the workshop area.

I've attached a pic that will hopefully give you an idea; the rolling road is in the far corner, where the silver Golf Mk4 is...

Various shots on Awesome's website also give you an idea:

Good work Rob. Caliper replacement was it?

Steve

Good work Rob. Caliper replacement was it?

Steve

Yep unfortunately - £80 just for that, plus new pads, fitting etc.

I'm itching to see if it's helped cure the instability problems on heavy braking, but I've got to bed the new pads in first really.

Fuel economy is already improving though, seeing 30mpg on the through-town commute home, including a blat down the duel carriageway. Definately a lot better than the indicated 27mpg I've been getting the last few weeks.

Good stuff Rob!

Nice one Rob, be good to catch up again.

davy

Looking forward to the wee trip down.
