have fabia VRS and every now and again the steering gets heavy , Esp under braking. Like there is no power asist... Very off putting when i am pushing it along .. only done 10k and a jabba remap....

anyone had this happen ?

any idea's?

You checked the level of the PAS fluid?

Doesnt the fabia have electronic power steering. Could be an electrical problem.

does the fabia have somelectronic thingy on the steering or does it use fluid?

Not sure about the vRS, but my Fabia has hydraulic fluid. Reservoir is located to the left of the battery - should be more info in your handbook

The Fabia has electro-hydraulic PAS hence a hydraulic reservoir is part of the system.

Green mineral fluid (VAG supplied).
