Im in limbo...

Featured Replies

I have 17" Spiders on my car and i have just lowered it, and its looking good.

Now if i keep those wheels im thinking of getting them painted Gold (dull as per STI Impreza) and painting my calipers Red.

Anyone think that would be a good combination on a black Furby?

Opinions please!

Sure there were a few photoshops of standard fabia vrs alloys done in kind of dull gold and copper.

Looked no bad.

Possibly so!

Im trying to find a pic of the impreza that gave me the thought!

I would only do that on a black car which you got!

I like the sound of it :)

Only pic i can find and its a model!

I hate gold wheels. They're horrible. On anything. Including the Scooby.

But then again. I don't like broccoli either. So I don't cook it. If you like broclli then get some gold wheels.

Or something like that?!?

Chuck us a pic and I'll 'shop it with goldness for you.

You were starting to sound like Eric Cantona there for a bit:D.

Do seagulls like broccoli or Gold Wheels?

Hmmm, I think one of those full-stops should have been a comma. But I've been coding all day, so I'm surprised it wasn't a semicolon tbh.

Seagulls would prefer broccoli: as no one likes gold wheels, do they? Besides; gold wheels don't fit in sardine tins.

Today I am mostly feeling surrealist.

Actually Seagulls like burgers and nobody really like Broccoli either.

Hmmm....i dunno now ive seen it...maybe a bit darker i was thinking....my grille is black now so i think that would take the contrast of silver n gold away a bit...

Any chance of darker mate?

Defo go darker if you REALLY have to do em gold.........what about colour coding them to the car? or how about doing black fronts and vRS green on the inside of the wheels? just an idea.......not a clue what they'd look like lol

IMO I'd keep the Spiders a silver but get them with a pearl so they have a hint of blue/green etc when the sun hits them. Best off keeping the car looking OE, will make selling it and/or the wheels easier.

I basically saw a Black Impreza STI on the m/way the other day and it had the gold alloys and red calipers, it just looked right, but i think the gold would have to be the right shade to look ok....im sure a bit darker would sway me...

Im not 100% on keeping the spiders anyway, as i am after a swap in the for sale section...its only ideas to then mo.

gold looks cool and different

Whatever you like do it.

The reality is , you will have to live with them, if you don't like it ,then you cant really blame anyone else.
