Hi, Have just taken delivery of a nice shiny 58 plate Octy vRS CR 170 5DR in black (first skoda). I have already fitted a colour coded front grill and replaced the halogen bulbs with nice super white bulbs but am now struggling to replace the front fog bulbs with the same. Nothing in manual and cant find anything readily to hand on web. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

To get to the fog lights is quite a job as I believe the only way is to remove the front bumper! It may be possible to gain access by removing the front wheels and wheel arch linings but I've not tried this myself.

As for the bulb fitment I'm not 100% sure so I'll leave it to the likes of Stu to confirm.

I had the plastic piece off before looking at how to change the bulb. I didn't remove the lamp incase of the positioning being off. Maybe anyone doing it might take some pics with a how to .

If you need the front fog lights for fog leave the bulbs as yellow as possible, otherwise you won't see a thing when the time to use them comes.

halfrauds use to do some great all weather bulbs for snow, fog, heavy rain they looked a rainbow colour oin the glass but shone out a yellowy colour light was quite alot better imho.

Slightly linked, one of mine has gone 'foggy' (no pun intended), and not entirely unexpected given the current torrid weather, woudl this be considered a consumable and not covered by the warranty?
