I just saw that. The guy mentioned that the build quality wasn't as good as in VWs. Is this true? I was under the impression it was the same.

Hey yeah i saw that! Love the WRC, looks mint. Really loved the way the car glide through the road surface - Priceless!

I always why they never do a 4x4 Fab vRS, even tho it wont be a 300bhp engine. From looking at the documentary, too much body roll and the wheels dont big enough. My first thoughts when i drove the car - the hard way!

Unfortunately i cant afford the upgrade in that area or the engine area:(

Build quality is not quite the same comparing the VW - imho. Comparing the fabia and the polo - the polo has better quality internally and externally. Hence why you pay

IMHO I think the build quality's just the same - shutlines, solidity etc. are great. The only thing is, the materials they use aren't quite upto a comparable VWs (plastics feel cheaper, metal feels thinner)

Quite right. Build quality is probably higher in Skodas than VWs but material quality is a little lower. VWs feel nicer but rattle more as born out by warrenty claims.

didnt Skoda recently come top of the pile in an in house VAG pole on build quality ??
