When I had the Mk1 Octy my dealer quoted me £2000 to change to xenons!

I'm not surprised. To do it properly needs new headlights and adjustors, a level detection system, and the internal manual adjuster removing.

That must be an after-market kit to fit inside the existing headlights, which is illegal.

Each xenon headlight unit costs more then £250 new, and that's before you buy the control boxes (£300+ each, and you need two), HID bulbs, starters, wiring... etc..
