Looks like the safety car at the ring is an Octavia

They've had these for quite some time now. There is a Skoda dealer right near the paddock entrance to the GP circuit as well who supply the cars. The chaps who work their quite often take their vRS demo round during their lunch break.

Yep, they have been there a fair while now - I always said the estates were the quickest VRS's - think that proves my point 100%. :P

Llooks like their getting new barriers now though.

Couldn't get any closer to take better pics though, had to get out the car and get behind the crash barrier quickly

skoda's the preferred ride of the tour de france back up teams.. mainly for the space in the estate

Does look like it, its closed currently (obviously) and due to reopen on the 26th October.
